Covid19 update Dec 20, 2021

Heads up! With the increasing number of Covid cases in Nova Scotia we have received a directive from our governing body, the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association.

For the safety of all we have been moved back to phase one (we were at phase 4 in the reopening plan before this latest outbreak) What does this mean?

The good news is that we are still able to function fully as a veterinary hospital with some adjustments.

However, effective immediately, we are moving to curbside only with locked doors.

This means that patients will have to be dropped off to our technicians at the door for their appointments.

If you are not comfortable with that we will be happy to reschedule you into the new year in hopes that the situation involving Covid has improved. We will also be able to do some appointments via telemedicine with the possibility of emailing photos. We ask that you have patience when you arrive at the clinic and to call the office when you arrive in the parking lot. If you get our voicemail please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we are able. As well we ask that all payments be made via etransfer or phoning in a credit card.

This applies for food and drug pick up as well. If this is not possible please let us know. Please be respectful and understanding during this adjustment period. We will try as best as we can to run appointments on time, however emergencies can and will occur which may affect timings. If you or any of your contacts are exhibiting any signs of illness we ask that you kindly call to reschedule your appointment. Disrespectful words or actions will not be tolerated as we are all trying to navigate this new directive. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
