EMERGENCY AFTER HOURS ON CALL PROCEDURES

PLEASE NOTE: As you may know Dr. Bligh has retired and we have a new owner, Dr. Natasha Cairns. Dr. Cairns is also a mother of two young children so working 6 days a week and being on call 24/7 is a lot for one person to take on by themselves. Here in the valley we do not have the luxury of having an emergency clinic as they do in HRM. For these reasons, we are teaming up with Glooscap Veterinary Clinic and Berwick Animal Hospital to share the after hours on call emergency services. If you require emergency services after hours, you would still call our number, 902 542 3422, and press 9 for emergency service. Your call would then be directed to the answering service who would then relay your contact information to the veterinarian on call.We hope that our clients will understand the need to make this change to allow for home/work/life balance.
